Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for the financial management of the State Organization. The composition and scope of the Finance Committee shall be as follows.
i. Secretaries of the State Executive Committee
ii. Treasurer of the State Executive Committee
iii. One member of the Central Executive Committee
a) Powers and Responsibilities of the Finance Committee:
1) To review the annual audit report and the financial affairs of the Executive Committee.
2) Review and bring to the attention of the Executive Committee meeting other matters related to buildings / publications / programs and finance.
3) To review the monthly revenue expenditure of the organization and bring it to the attention of the Executive Committee.
4) The President of the State Executive shall have the power to make appropriate by-laws regarding the financial management of the Organization.
b) Collection of funds for building construction:
Funds for building construction, collected as grants from the government, or through donation s from associations/individuals, are compulsorily to be routed through the accounts of KRUPA Association.
ACCOUNTS:
1. The Association shall open a bank account in any of the scheduled banks/Nationalized/co-operative banks which account shall be operated under the joint signatures of the Secretary and Treasure. In case of any dispute between these two, the Executive committee 2/3rd quorum resolution will come in force to change signing authorities for banking purpose and all financial maters
a. The Official year of the Association shall be from 1st April to 31st March of a calendar year
b. The assets and liabilities, the balance sheet of the Association shall be and laid before the Annual General Body meeting for confirmation.
c. Such a balance sheet and the list of Committee members shall be filed with the of Societies as per See 13 of the KSR Act 1960.
AUDITOR:
An Auditor and Legal Advisor shall be appointed annually and the remuneration shall fix by the members in the Annual General Body meeting.
